What do the symbols or icons in the first column of the Agents and Agencies networking menu mean?

If you navigate using the left menu to NETWORK < Agents or NETWORK > Agencies, most other users will see in the first column a few different symbols.  KW GPS agents would navigate to the top menu My Agent Network > Agents or from Home > under Agent Tools > FIND AN INTL AGENT or for Agencies using the top menu My Agencies > Agencies or from the Home menu > under Agent Tools > FIND OVERSEAS AGENCY.

Handshake symbol - A handshake symbol indicated that a network connection has not presently been made, received or sent.  This network connection can be made by clicking the handshake symbol and sending the network invitation to the other agent or agency.  Another way to send this network connection invite email is if the name of the Agent or Agency is clicked and you are on the Agent Profile or Agency Profile, there usually is an "Invite" button on these two pages.  By clicking the Invite button, it will also take you to the same "Send Invitation" email that can be sent to another agent or agency for approval.

Note: when logged into your own account and searching for yourself in the Agents networking menu, you will not see the handshake symbol in the first column of the Agents networking menu or if viewing your own profile and on your own Agent Profile, you will not have an Invite button.  This is because you cannot network with yourself.

Yellow triangle with exclamation point in it - Once a Send Network invitation has been sent or received, in the Agents or Agencies networking menu, this yellow triangle with an exclamation point symbol is seen in the first column and indicated that a network connection with the Agent or Agency has been either been sent or received but is still Pending.  To accept the network invitation, click on the Agents or Agencies name to navigate to the Agent Profile or Agency Profile.  On that page where used to be the "Invite" button will appear an Accept of Decline button.  Once the Accept button is made, the Agent or Agency will appear in either the My Agent Network tab in the Agents networking menu or the My Agency Network in the Agencies networking menu.

Yellow Star symbol - Once a Send Network invitation has been sent or received, in the Agents or Agencies networking menu, this yellow star symbol is seen in the first column and indicated that a network connection with the Agent or Agency has been either been sent or received and the network connection was accepted.

Note: when Agent or Agency network invitations are sent, an email is also sent with an Accept or Ignore button.  Network connections can be made directly from the email with also an option to click the link in the email for "View the profile of John Smith" for example which will direct you to the Agent or Agency profile to accept or decline the invitation.
